Biography

Michael Leikam is President and Chief Executive Officer of Centralized Supply Chain Services, LLC, the $2 billion supply chain cooperative for the Applebee’s and IHOP restaurant systems.  CSCS’s primary mission is two-fold.  First to assure that Member operators receive the benefit of continuously available goods and services at the lowest sustainable cost, and second, to coordinate with Applebee’s and IHOP in their ongoing efforts to develop new and innovative products and programs to promote their respective concepts.

Prior to being named CEO, Mr. Leikam was CSCS’s Chief Administrative Officer. Before joining CSCS, he served as Executive Director, Strategic Supply Management for Dine Brands and prior to that, Applebee’s. Before joining Applebee’s in 2004, Mr. Leikam worked in consulting, managing numerous engagements specializing in large project management and business process design for clients in a variety of industries.

Mr. Leikam started in the restaurant industry working for Pizza Hut, a division of PepsiCo at the time, where he held a variety of roles in the IT and Controller’s organizations before transferring to PepsiCo Restaurant Services (PRS). At PRS, Mr. Leikam was one of several Project Directors responsible for managing the consolidation of the accounting and financial systems organizations of Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and KFC into a single shared service organization.

Mr. Leikam is a graduate of Kansas State University.  He serves on K-State’s College of Business Dean’s Business Advisory Council, the Graduate Studies Advisory Council for the MBA and PMBA programs, and he is a member of the College’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Advisory Board through his involvement in Rise Up, a leadership and scholarship program for students from marginalized groups.  Mr. Leikam also serves on several industry and charitable boards.
