Biography
Alan Santa is the Senior Director of Procurement for Centralized Supply Chain Services, LLC (CSCS), the $2 billion supply chain cooperative serving the Applebee’s and IHOP restaurant systems. In his role he leads the department responsible for spend within the non-commodity categories: Beverage, Deserts, Grocery, Bakery, Potato Complex, Soups and Sauces.
Additional responsibilities include contracting activities supporting Information Technology. Mr. Santa began his career in the foodservice industry as a Chef, working for many independent restaurants in Newport, RI. He joined Applebee’s in 1998 and worked as a General Manager and Regional Training Manager before joining the Applebee’s corporate supply chain group in 2007.
Mr. Santa received a Business Degree from Johnson & Wales in Providence, RI. He also attended Salve Regina University in Newport, RI where he received a Master of Business Science in Organizational Development.
